Who's behind this
Gridiron Vault was founded by an active Power 4 college football coach with over a decade of experience at the FBS level. We stay anonymous by design — this isn't about one person or one program. It's about the tools.
What we can tell you: these products were built and tested inside a real football program, used during real game weeks, and refined based on what actually helps a staff prepare and perform. Nothing here was designed by someone who hasn't stood on a sideline.
Why Gridiron Vault
Every tool here started as something we needed and couldn't find. The scouting platforms that existed were either too expensive for most programs, too complex for a staff with limited time, or built by people who had never called a defense in their life.
CFBScout was built to replace the patchwork of browser tabs, spreadsheets, and PDF exports that most staffs rely on for opponent prep. DC Hub was built because coordinating a defense means managing too much information across too many places. The Playbook Vault exists because scheme knowledge shouldn't be locked behind expensive clinics or staff-to-staff relationships.
Coaching tools built by a coach. That distinction matters.
The mission
Level the playing field. A G5 staff should have access to the same quality of scouting infrastructure as a P4 program. An FCS coordinator should be able to run a preparation process that's as organized as anyone in the country.
The gap between well-resourced programs and everyone else is real. Gridiron Vault is how we start closing it.
